Yaz is a Palestinian-American Spoken Word/Hip Hop artist born and raised in Chicago. He started recording and performing music at age fourteen. A lot of his content revolves around his conflicted identity as a Palestinian-American. He was based in Dubai for two years. There he released a few singles and was fairly involved in the scene.
Yaz also received some media coverage such as The Poetryhood Podcast interview which is available on all podcast platforms and recently was interviewed on the radio station Dubai Eye 1038 FM. He recently returned home to Chicago to continue his artistic pursuits.
