Grim Swindango is a rock band from Madrid, formed in 2016, with the intent of making music for the joy of it. The group has a very characteristic sound that will leave no one feeling indifferent about it. Their repertoire includes their own songs and some remixed covers that are based on the Mexican “Día de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead).
Grim Swindango es una banda de rock madrileña nacida en 2016 con la intención de hacer música por y para el divertimento. El grupo ha conseguido sacar un sonido muy característico que no dejará indiferente a nadie. Su propuesta es sobre temas propios y alguna versión customizada, todo ambientado en la fiesta del día de los muertos mexicana.

Band members:
Veronica Almería is the singer. She is joyous and forgetful. She loves Disney movies and walks the woods while whistling to the local wild birds. One day she fell over a sheer cliff which dropped her into the world of the dead. Now, she is known as the afterlife singer.
Noe Cooper’s guitar used to talk to her at night night and because of that she went completely crazy. One rainy day, she decided to put an end to the torture and plugged all her music devices in under the rain. Now, both she and her guitar live in the afterlife where it’s always dark so her guitar can speak to her freely.
José Iglesias always liked to smash things. As a kid he spent hours mistreating the school desks and every object within reach. One day, he left home to explore which other objects he could find out there to smash. Unluckily, he wanted to know how the bald head of a bouncer would sound on a dance club door. This is how a curious drummer ended up in the afterlife.

Verónica Almería es nuestra cantante, alegre y despistada. Amante de Disney solía recorrer los bosques silbando a los pájaros silvestres del lugar. Hasta que un día tropezó cayendo por un barranco y llegando así al mundo de los muertos. Ahora la llaman la cantante de ultratumba
Noe Cooper, la guitarra le hablaba por las noches y eso la volvió loca. Un día decidió poner fin a esa tortura y enchufó su equipo un día de lluvia. Ahora las dos viven en el otro lado donde su guitarra no para de hablar porque siempre se está a oscuras
José Iglesias a la batería. A José siempre le gustó golpear cosas, de pequeño pasaba horas maltratando los pupitres, cojines y todo objeto que estuviera a su alcance. Un día se le ocurrió salir de casa a explorar que otros objetos golpeables había por el mundo, con la mala suerte que decidió probar la sonoridad de la calva de un puerta de discoteca. Así llegó al otro lado este curioso batería.
