Santiago Cordoba, has put on a different set of skins and strings to perform his solo concept “Corso“: a kaleidoscope of various percussion instruments, loops, samples, piano, guitar…..but most of all his musical soul itself.His music is thoroughly composed, well structured, yet sometimes surprising in breaks or sudden interchanges, held together by a general elegance, a light pulse and Santiago`s intense way to play.
Sound landscapes that push to get out, break structures and become in the universe, playing with elements that allow you to multiply, divide their voices and mutate into forms. Their songs use the encounter with instruments like the piano, the guitar, the hang, the ronrroco and of the experimentation with alternative percussions.

Luego de haber transitado los ambientes de “Faná” (2006) y “Dezmenuzá” (2004), construye en su nuevo trabajo “CORSO” canciones de departamento. Un monoambiente en el barrio de Saavedra, Buenos Aires, fue base de operaciones para melodías inspiradas en diferentes vivencias y territorios.

Paisajes sonoros que pujan por salir, romper estructuras y devenir en universo, jugando con elementos que le permiten multiplicarse, dividir sus voces y mutar de formas. Sus canciones se valen del encuentro con instrumentos como el piano, la guitarra, el hang, el ronrroco y de la experimentación con percusiones alternativas. Un beat orgánico de elementos no convencionales que se proyectan desde el interior, se consolidan en el afuera y terminan de materializarse adentro del oyente en forma continua de ida y vuelta; legitimando paisajes que se expanden creando mantras hipnóticos muy ricos en sonoridad, ritmos y estilos, reflexionando pero sin preguntar demasiado.
Corso, with a year of life, has been presented in Buenos Aires and tours in Europe, Brazil and New York.
In mid-2016 he was summoned to compose the original music of the performance “A Ticket To Atlantis” held in Beirut, Lebanon.
Recently, the English magazine Sounds and Colors specialized in Latin American culture has included the track “Mamila” to the compilation dedicated to the new sounds of Argentina, “Que Canchero” (Nov.2016).
Corso, con un año de vida, ha sido presentado en Buenos Aires y en giras por Europa, Brasil y Nueva York.
A mediados de 2016 fue convocado para componer la música original de la performance “A Ticket To Atlantis” realizada en Beirut, Líbano.
Recientemente, el magazine inglés Sounds and Colours especializado en cultura Latinoamericana ha incluido el track “Mamila” al compilado dedicado a los nuevos sonidos de Argentina, “Qué Canchero” (Nov. 2016).

El proyecto Nación Ekeko nació de viajes, del encuentro con personajes latinoamericanos, de cantos y recitados recopilados. Sin dudas, un gran recorrido musical que atraviesa de punta a punta las venas abiertas de América Latina, y las gargantas de mujeres y hombres que han dejado sus mensajes ancestrales sobre la Tierra.
Nación is more than music; Is a sensorial experience that takes its endless sounds to an organic place of connection.Wireless controllers called Sonolumas, make the show a balance in motion, merging the art of older sonorities with electronics and a live percussion flare.The fusion of Andean, Latin and African sounds with house and dub and technology at the service of improvisation, make the music of Ekeko Nation, a unique sound trip.
Nación ekeko es más que música; es una experiencia sensorial que lleva sus interminables sonidos a un lugar orgánico de conexión. Controladores inalámbricos llamados Sonolumas, hacen que el show sea equilibrio en movimiento, fusionando el arte de las sonoridades más antiguas con la electrónica y una llamarada de percusión en vivo. La fusión de sonoridades andinas, latinas y africanas con el house y el dub y la tecnología al servicio de la improvisación, hacen de la música de Nación ekeko, un viaje sonoro único.
