Carlos Elsel, was born in Madrid 35 years ago. His relationship with music was forged as he grew up watching his mother, Patricia DeVelasco, appear on television programs, playing in the most mythical venues of the capital and recording in studios with the best musicians on the scene at the time. From her, he inherited the taste for English-speaking music which made him interested in artists such as Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Ray Lamontagne or Paolo Nutini, and these influences can be found in the seven songs that make up his first album, A Home Truth.
Carlos Elsel, nació en Madrid hace 35 años. Su relación con la música se fue forjando mientras crecía viendo a su madre, Patricia DeVelasco, aparecer en programas de televisión, tocando en las salas más míticas de la capital y grabando en los estudios con los mejores músicos del panorama por aquel entonces. De ella, heredó el gusto por la música en habla inglesa lo que le hizo interesarse por artistas como Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Ray Lamontagne o Paolo Nutini, y estas influencias se pueden degustar en las siete canciones que forman su primer disco, A Home Truth.
