Originally from Madrid, Elena Exposit has studied music since childhood but it was not until a few years ago when she started writing her own songs under the stage name ‘Echo Suit’. Influenced by songwriters such as Elliott Smith and Sparklehorse, she tries to capture emotions in the most intimate and sincere way using her guitar and voice.

Nacida en Madrid, Elena Expósito ha estudiado música desde niña, pero no fue hasta hace unos pocos años que empezó a escribir sus propias canciones bajo el nombre artístico de «Echo Suit». Paula Ferraz moved to Madrid from Marbella last year to start university. In her hometown she studied classical piano and sang in a rock band with friends. When members of the band left and moved away, Paula started playing guitar and singing on her own. She performed a few times at a local bar before moving to Madrid where she discovered a new world with the open-mic scene.

Paula Ferraz se vino a Madrid desde Marbella el año pasado para iniciar sus estudios universitarios. En su ciudad natal estudió piano clásico y cantó en un grupo de rock con amigos. Cuando el grupo se disolvió y sus miembros se fueron yendo a vivir a otros lugares, Paula empezó a tocar la guitarra y cantar por su cuenta. Actuó unas cuantas veces en un bar local antes de mudarse a Madrid, donde descubrió todo un nuevo mundo en las noches de micrófono abierto.

Chrisstina was born in Madrid in 1997 and at age 14 she began her journey into the world of music. Her first classes were guitar, an instrument that soon would become her greatest support in the concerts and first compositions. Nine months after Chrisstina started learning the guitar she began taking singing lessons. After one year of singing lessons she joined the school of the producer and vocal coach Jesus Yanes where she studied singing, theater, acting camera, piano, dance and technical stage. Four years later, at age 18, Chrisstina finished her studies at the school and entered the Blues School in Madrid. During her last year with Jesus Yanes she traveled to London on holiday, she auditioned for a small London label. A week later, she was signed to produce her first record contract in which she would work alongside the producer Ian Post from New York on two original songs. The first one, Poker Game, came to light last June 24th. The second song, titled Breath Again is still kept in a drawer, but is expected to finished and released this year.
After several months of concerts, mostly in northern Spain, Chrisstina has taken a break from performing to work on her own songs to focus on compositional work and finding her sound, which in the not too distant future, will be included in her first album.
Chrisstina nació en Madrid en 1997 y con 14 años empezó su viaje al mundo de la música. Sus primeras clases fueron de guitarra, un instrumento que no tardaría en convertirse en su principal apoyo en sus conciertos y primeras composiciones. A los nueve meses de empezar aprender guitarra, Chrisstina comenzó a tomar lecciones de canto. Después de un año de recibir clases de canto, se unió a la escuela del productor y profesor de voz Jesús Yanes, donde estudió canto, actuación para teatro y cine, piano, danza y escenografía. Cuatro años más tarde, al cumplir los 18, Chrisstina finalizó sus estudios en la escuela y entró en la Blues School de Madrid. Durante su último año con Jesús Yanes fue a Londres de vacaciones y realizó una audición para un pequeño sello londinense. Una semana más tarde había firmado para producir su primer contrato discográfico, en el que trabajaría junto con el productor neoyorquino Ian Post en dos temas originales. La primera canción, Poker Game, se lanzó el pasado 24 de junio. La segunda, titulada Breath Again, está todavía en la reserva, pero se espera que esté acabada y publicada este año.
Tras varios meses de conciertos, sobre todo por el norte de España, Chrisstina ha dejado aparcadas por un tiempo las actuaciones para dedicarse a sus propias canciones y centrarse en la composición y en encontrar su propio sonido; estos temas se incluirán en un futuro no muy lejano en su álbum de debut.
