Wakefield song writer and guitarist Guy North plays a mixture of blues, country and folk with influences from John Lee Hooker through to Cat Stephens. Guy released his debut single ‘Cripple Horse’, a beautifully crafted alt-country track, late last year which is now available on Spotify / ITunes, etc. For the past year Guy has been working hard on recording his debut album which will feature many of the songs from his ‘1 song a week’ video blog. Although writing and recording 1 song per week became too hard a task to maintain it has given him a great wealth of material and experience. Besides performing solo, Guy is also a member of the Wakefield country blues band ‘Thomas Wilby Gang’.
El cantautor y guitarrista de Wakefield, Inglaterra Guy North mezcla blues, Country y folk con influencia de John Lee Hooker mediante Cat Stephens. Guy publicó su primer single ‘Cripple Horse’, una composición alt-country llena de belleza a finales del año pasado que puedes encontrar en Spotify, ITunes etc. Este último año Guy ha estado grabando su primer álbum que contiene muchas canciones de su vídeo blog ‘1 song a week’. El proyecto de escribir y grabar una canción por semana ha sido un gran reto y además le ha aportado una variedad de material y experiencia. Aparte de tocar como solista, Guy es miembro de la banda ‘Thomas Wilby Gang’ de Wakefield, Inglaterra.
