Nuria Martín, a singer-songwriter and artist from Madrid is behind the project Dear Leo. At the age of 6 she became acquainted with the art of the world of dance. Later, she immersed herself in musical theater, finding the perfect mode of expression for her artistic interests. In 2014, Nuria held her first guitar when she formed the band ‘Oulu’. Since then, she has never stopped writing songs and decided to launch her own musical project and Dear Leo was born.
In 2016, she took a break from her own project to participate and get involved with The Voice Spain by being a part of Manuel Carrasco’s team. In 2017, Nuria released her first EP titled Living in Salt, an ode to toxic relationships which was recorded at “El Invernadero” Studio by the producer and musician Brian Hunt.
Dear Leo es el proyecto detrás de Nuria Martín, cantautora y artista madrileña. Toma contacto con el arte temprano, a los 6 años con el mundo de la danza. Más adelante, se sumerge también en el teatro musical, encontrando el modo perfecto de expresión para sus inquietudes artísticas. En 2014 coge su primera guitarra cuando forma la banda Oulu, desde entonces no ha parado de componer temas para así decidirse a lanzar su propio proyecto musical: nace Dear Leo.
En 2016 hace un parón en el camino debido a su fichaje en la Voz España, formando así parte del equipo de Manuel Carrasco. En 2017 lanza su primer EP, Living in Salt, toda una oda a las relaciones tóxicas, grabado en “El Invernadero” del productor y músico Brian Hunt.
