Jean-Marc & Johnny Moon are a folk duo born in Madrid on 2016. Influenced by artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake or The Tallest Man on Earth they have built a soft, silk sound. Compositionally, the essence of each one of their songs is based on the same principle: expressing feelings, thoughts about their lives, and self-relief. Their lyrics and instrumentals speak to the best and worst – the deepest reflection of the soul. Listening to their music offers the realization that every person can see a part of themselves in the same song. That life is about communication and a song belongs to all who listen.
Jean-Marc & Johnny Moon have already published their first autoedited album, “Brown Leaves and Empty Eyes” and are currently working on new songs.
Jean-Marc & Johnny Moon son un dúo de folk creado en Madrid en 2016. Han desarrollado un sonido suave y sedoso en el que se percibe la influencia de artistas como Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake o The Tallest Man on Earth. La esencia de cada una de sus canciones se basa en el mismo principio: expresar sentimientos y pensamientos sobre su vida y desahogarse. Sus letras y su música aluden a lo mejor y a lo peor, a las más profundas reflexiones del alma. Al oírlos, uno se da cuenta de que cada persona puede ver una parte de sí misma reflejada en la misma canción. Que la vida es comunicación y que las canciones pertenecen a todo aquel que las escucha.
