Music allows me to express and release so many emotions. It has truly changed my life and I can’t imagine my world without it.
Born and raised in Dubai, 19 year old Emirati Sara Al Hashimi started studying voice seriously at age 12 though she has always been passionate about singing! She is currently in her second year studying vocal performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. In 2014, Sara had the opportunity to perform for Yousef Islam / Cat Stevens and has recorded one of his songs as well as her own original songs in his studio with his production team as she is also a blossoming songwriter.
She has also had a few notable performance opportunities namely at Tedx Ajman, for the graduation ceremony of the Masdar Institute where she performed in front of the Crown Prince HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed. She again performed for him late last year, as well as for HRH Prince Charles at Al Ain Jahili Fort. Sara has headlined concerts at Dubai Global Village as well as for several performances in Manchester, UK and Boston, USA.As a young adult on the autism spectrum, music holds a special place for Sara along with the belief that music can change the world and transform the soul. This is what she always looks to share with people and her audiences.
