19 Mar – ACUARELA

“Music is like going home. Always love, always music. I like to learn different melodies and rhythms. Bossanova has been a special style of music for me since I was 20. It’s my best partner and makes every moment worthwhile.” -Violeta Palomo

Violeta Palomo was born in Madrid, Spain. She fell in love with singing the first time she heard a flamenco singer perform. Violeta studied flamenco music while she was getting her degree in Journalism which ultimately brought her to “Duendeando” at Radio3.

Francisco Hernández, accompanying Violeta on the guitar, is from California. He has played for ten years and says the guitar has never complained, which he believes is a good sign.
