Kerrie Stirling is a singer/saxophonist and songwriter with over ten years experience in the music entertainment industry. After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Popular Music at Edinburgh Napier University, Kerrie released her first album, “Wishful Thinking” and followed this with a successful career playing in five star hotels and resorts around the globe. Kerrie has entertained international audiences through her performances in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the Middle East along with contracts on the 5 star Luxury Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises. Some of the hotel groups she has performed with include Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Hilton, Shangri-La, Sheraton, and Marriott Hotels.
Kerrie moved to Dubai in 2018 and has since been building her reputation as a freelance musician, though due to the current worldwide situation has found herself making the most of the ‘downtime’ and getting back into the studio where she is now preparing her next album. The first single from this album, “Ride it Out”, was written and recorded during lockdown with collaborations from musicians all over the world. Due to Kerrie’s love for music and collaborating with other musicians, she will be performing her original material at the Yalla Festival with guitarist Ariel Toledo and Keyboardist Daniel Talbot, both professional and well known musicians from the Dubai music scene. Kerrie’s songs are true to the heart, with blues, jazz, soul and funk influences, sure to captivate audiences of all ages and tastes.
