Carlos started playing the classical guitar when he was twelve years old but he only studied for two years. He discovered he didn’t like playing classical music. So he continued on playing guitar without a teacher exploring his own ways and on his own.
Carlos performed in university with the school band while studying Forestry. After he finished his degree, he decided to go to Cordoba to study the flamenco guitar in a conservatory for four years. Carlos had always been interested in musical improvisation. When he understand that the conservatory is not the place to explore and experiment and improvise, he decided to go home to Valencia. Carlos became a student of Alfonso del Corral and Josvi Muñoz learning jazz guitar and jazz theory. He also studied musical improvisation with Josep Galiana, Heidi Erbich and Chefa Alonso.
In 2016, Carlos moved to Madrid to study guitar with Mario Quiñones. He is currently preparing his first album comprised of his own original compositions.
Carlos empezó a tocar guitarra clásica cuando tenía 12 años, pero solo fue a clases dos años. Descubrió que no le gustaba tocar música clásica. Así que siguió tocando la guitarra sin profesor, explorando por su cuenta y a su manera.
Durante sus estudios de Ingeniería Forestal formó parte de la banda universitaria. Después de licenciarse se fue a Córdoba cuatro años a estudiar guitarra flamenca en un conservatorio. Siempre le ha interesado la improvisación musical. Cuando se dio cuenta de que el conservatorio no era el lugar adecuado para explorar, experimentar e improvisar, decidió regresar a Valencia. Estudió guitarra y teoría de jazz bajo la tutela de Alfonso del Corral y Josvi Muñoz. También estudió improvisación musical con Josep Galiana, Heidi Erbich y Chefa Alonso.
En 2016 Carlos se trasladó a Madrid para aprender guitarra con Mario Quiñones. En estos momentos está preparando su primer álbum, del que también es compositor.
